I’m Nick Anastasiou, trading as Nick’s Handyman Services in Hexham. I’m responsible for the information you send through this website. Contact nick@anastasiou.co about your information.
When you enquire
The form asks for your name, an email address or phone number, the job address (house number or name, street, town and postcode), a description, preferred timing and your preferred contact method if you choose one. Photos are optional. The enquiry also records whether you used the card page, a Google Business Profile link or the website. These details are used to assess your enquiry, contact you, discuss a quote and arrange any agreed work.
Where it goes
The website and form run on Cloudflare. Enquiries and photos are sent to my email inbox, hosted by Apple iCloud. Lambros Anastasiou manages my website and may assist with technical problems. Photos are not published on the website or used in advertising through this form.
Security and spam prevention
Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the website and protect the form from abuse. Photos are resized in your browser before upload where supported. Please don’t include sensitive documents, faces or other private information that isn’t needed for the job.
Address suggestions
When you start typing in the house number and street field, Google Maps Platform provides address suggestions. Google receives the address text you search for and technical information such as your IP address and browser information, and may use cookies or similar technologies. The search tool loads after you enter at least three characters. You can select a suggestion or continue entering the address manually.
The selected address fills the form for you to check and edit. Your name, contact details, job description and photos are not passed to Google by this address search. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Maps terms.
Keeping information
Enquiry information is kept while it is needed to respond to your request and manage any resulting work, and where records need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes. Contact me if you want to ask about, correct or delete your enquiry.
Anonymous site statistics
I count page views, arrivals, clicks on Call, WhatsApp and Email, and successfully accepted enquiry submissions to understand and improve this website and the ways you can contact me. Counts are grouped by day, page and a broad source: the business card, Google Business Profile, a search engine, another website, or direct / unknown.
Site statistics are on.
Only these totals are stored, on Cloudflare, for up to 400 days. There are no analytics cookies, visitor IDs, fingerprinting, individual browsing records or advertising tracking. Names, contact details, addresses, photos, IP addresses, full referring URLs and search terms are not stored in the statistics. Cloudflare still processes technical information to deliver and protect the site. I use the statistical-purpose exception for these aggregate website-improvement counts.
Counts are approximate: repeat visits can be counted again, some browsers hide the source, and contact clicks do not mean a call or message was completed. A successful enquiry count means the email service accepted it, not that it reached the inbox or became a booking.
Your choice is free and does not affect the website or form. Only a statistics preference is saved in this browser’s local storage after you change it. No tracking identifier is saved. Your choice lasts until you change it or clear this browser’s site data. If storage is blocked, the choice follows links for this visit. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are also honoured. Other browsers and devices have their own preference.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website has no advertising or analytics cookies. Broad source labels can be carried in links between its pages without identifying you. Statistics are separate from the enquiry information you choose to send me.
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile protects the enquiry form from spam. You can read about the information it processes in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can call or email instead of using the form. I do not use the form to sign you up to marketing, and there are no advertising trackers on this website.
Where you ask me to consider or carry out work, I use your details to take the steps you request before entering into a contract, or to fulfil an agreed contract. Website security is used in my legitimate interests in operating a safe service.
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or raise an objection where applicable. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office with a data-protection concern.
